dc.description | This project is a proposal on a combined work and exhibition place for artists and designers. The idea is that various artists and art forms can meet and interact with each other, creating a common meeting place. The building consists of studios, exhibition space, workshop and café. The studio space is flexible and can beopen ed up to a larger space, or closed in separate studios. The project is located in Brenneriveien, a street in Oslo known for art and cultural activities. The building is open to the public, inviting people in to visit the gallery and the artist studios. The outdoor stairs and the building itself acts as a link between Brenneriveien and Maridalsveien situated on a level above, creating a new way for people to move through the neighbourhood. | nb_NO |
