dc.description | Through a series of “Room Pictures” I explore the idea of simplicity in architecture. From quick sketches to more elaborate digital renders, the atmospheres of different spaces are portrayed. In carefully framing the pictures, I aim to create an expectancy. By not showing everything, I intrigue the mind to imagine what’s around the corner. The initial room pictures do not provide any answers to a specific problem or program. They are merely drawn forth as a stream of consciousness in search for simplicity. Together, they form a visual inventory of simple architectonic ideas which serves as a backdrop in developing a final project: a house on an island on the west coast of Norway. | nb_NO |
