Pandemic happens every year, which brings deaths and tragedy to people globally. Healthcare workers always have more risks of dying from pandemics. Therefore, more protective measures should be taken to help health-care workers to defend the virus while fighting against the pandemic monsters. A Secure Touch is a system-oriented design and industrial design project that focuses on posi-tioning the risks and giving the possible solution. The project concludes with a Hand-isolation system with a series of products called Secure Tools. The system is placed in the scenario of PPE doffing process (The process of taking off personal protection equipment) for healthcare work-ers. By introducing four Secure Tools into the whole PPE doffing process and abandoning tradi-tional hand hygiene solutions, a distance will emerge between hands and dirty PPEs, which pro-tects healthcare workers from getting self-contamination during the doffing process. Because of the limitation of time, the project only ends up with a completion of Unzipper (Se-cure Tool-3) and exploration conclusions of Rapid Glove (Secure Tool-4). Unzipper is a Secure Tool for achieving a more secured unzipping motion by isolating hands from the high-risk areas of coveralls, it is used in the scenario of coverall unzipping. Unzipper is a combination of two components, Tab and Arm. Tab is the part that connecting normal zip-per tabs from coveralls, it is the most important part for Unzipper tool, it has a function of zip-per-searching and unzipping. Arm is the auxiliary tool for Unzipper Tab. It is only used for some complex scenarios to blind search the Tab and unzip the coverall with a higher secure level. Rapid glove is another Secure Tool that targeting secured easy hand motions, more details will be found from my report.
