Beskrivelse
The Crossing is an explorative project looking into the conditions for collaboration at AHO through the perspectives of Systems Oriented Design and Design for Service. The outcomes, an ‘AHO Living Toolset’ and ‘AHO Sandbox’, propose an adaptive response to the challenges uncovered in the research.
The AHO Living Toolbox is a collection of 11 editable visualizations of different parts, processes and structures at AHO in varying degrees of detail. The intention is to have the project’s research and material be accessible for the organization and initiatives within it. The goal is that these tools can be used to develop different internal processes and create different interventions at the institution for its overall improvement. This outcome responds to findings related to lack of oversight expressed by several interviewees, which as a result can hinder collaborative opportunities and trust in the institution.
AHO Sandbox is a service concept intended to spark the ‘preconditions’ for collaboration - such as awareness and trust - across AHO’s ecosystem. It could do this through active, continuous and low-threshold experimentation in exchanges, communication and incentives. Sandbox’s main point is to envision a function in the organization that actively experiments bridging relational gaps in an easy way so that the awareness of people in the system can result in new collaborations such as projects, research, courses, etc.
