Meeting trees is a project that encourages people to view trees as an essential component of the urban environment. With a series of spaces, a depot, a workshop, a cafe, and a garden, the project intends to create awareness and give an understanding of nature’s processes by providing a space where visitors can come and interact with trees and wood as a material. This diploma explores and suggests a place where one may learn more about trees and discovering ways to reintroduce us with the touch and sense of our larger biological community. Eventually, change people’s perceptions of trees, and rethink our place in nature.en_US
