Remember being a kid and hiding under the tablecloth at dinner parties, or climbing your favourite chestnut tree, being completely hidden between its big leaves? Finding a secret place, from where you could observe the world around you, without it seeing you. As we grow up, both social norms and our size prohibits us from hiding under the tablecloth. It's just plain weird. In this project, the hope is to help create the feeling of finding something hidden, a place to withdraw. The site is a small, fenced off gap between two buildings, the street and a park. By opening up a narrow passage through the site, both a secluded part of the steep-sloped park and the site itself become places that engage curiosity.snb_NO
