Lifelong dwelling
Description
The intention of the diploma is to reinvigorate the notion of dwelling by interpreting states of mind influenced by literature and translated through drawing and physical models. With the purpose of producing an architectural response to the programme of lifelong dwelling.
The response has led to three separate dwellings.
It is with the intention of bringing the effects of our physical surroundings to attention. It is about positioning myself in the dwellings. It deals with a dialogue between the dwellings and a pretended acquisition of a state of mind – in order to unravel the possibility of a continuous flow of states of mind through a lifelong living. It is with the intention of presenting a feasible dialogue between the dwellings and myself, here and now, one that is itself in perpetual motion. And by accepting the dialogue in motion, it leads to accepting a need for challenging architectural decisions in the discourse of lifelong dwelling.
